THERMAL INACTIVATION OF AIRBORNE CORONAVIRUS

SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused the Coronavirus-19 epidemic, is most effectively spread in the air, especially in indoor environments in winter. Therefore, reducing the concentration of airborne coronavirus in closed environments is vital in reducing the spread of the epidemic.

Solution

We have developed an indoor electric heater which also deactivates coronavirus in the air during the winter months. The electric heater consumes the same amount of energy as a standard electric heater and inactivates SARS-CoV-2 in the air while heating the interior. It does not emit harmful electromagnetic radiation and does not release toxic substances into the air.

Use in Public Transport Vehicles

The electric heater can inactivate airborne coronavirus while heating public transport vehicles such as subways, trams, and trains. The video presentation shows coronavirus in red, inactivated while passing through the electric heater.
